Amateur Division
Main Tournament (1st – 5th)*
All Captains entered in the Championship are eligible for Main Tournament prizes
1st Place – Guaranteed $10,000
2nd Place – $5,000
3rd Place – $4,000
4th Place – $3,000
5th Place – $2,000
*based on a full field of 500 boats, except guaranteed first place
Tournaments Within Tournament (TWT’s)
TWT’s are optional and require additional fees. Fees are listed below. Captains entered in these TWT’s are eligible to win one, or all of the TWT’s entered. The more you enter…the more you win if you weigh in a winning fish!
Single Fish TWT’s (1st – 3rd places paid out, except for $500 TWT)
$50 / $75 / $100 / $200 / $300 / $500 (one winner)
Multiple Fish TWT’s (1st – 3rd places paid out)
$250 two fish aggregate
$400 four fish aggregate
Special TWT’s
$50 Pro-Am Challenge (one winner)
This is the only part of the tournament where Amateurs and Professional compete for the same pot of money. There is only one winner, the winner will be determined by the single heaviest fish for those entered in this TWT.

NEW All-IN Bonus
Those Captains who go ‘All-In’ and win the Amateur Division will be awarded a $5,000 Bonus
All-IN is determined by Amateur Captains that enter the main tournament and all 9 (nine) TWT’s.

Daily Prizes
Each day we will award Daily Prizes to the Captains who weighs in the heaviest fish for that day, and does not win any other prize with a higher value.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
1st – $1,000 – 2nd $500
*based on a full field of 500 boats, except guaranteed first place
Boat & Motor Prizes
Boat and motor prizes are free to enter. Captains weighing in the heaviest fish while fishing on a listed boat manufacturer below during the tournament and/or fishing on a boat with one of the listed motors, is eligible for a cash prize up to $400 (prize amount may change based on sponsor limits).

All MSSA Crew Bonus (both Amateur & Pro Divisions)
This prize is open to both divisions, Amateur & Professional.  On each day of the tournament, the Captain who has an All MSSA Crew and weighs in the heaviest fish, will win $1,000.  A total of $3,000 will be awarded throughout the tournament.  To have an All MSSA Crew, the Captain must ensure that EVERY person on the boat on that day is an MSSA member.  The Captain must also submit an All MSSA Crew form before the start of the tournament.  Click here for the All MSSA Crew Form.

    Captain Brandon Moore-Born and raised on Kent island with a love of the outdoors.  He spent over two decades with Langenfelder Marine, a dredging contractor and aggregate producer.  Specializing in oyster recovery operations, and the development of oyster and fishing reefs in the Chesapeake Bay, Delaware Bay and surrounding tributaries.  Brandon holds a US Coast Guard 100 Ton master license
