We started the day like any other SEADUCK HUNT. We placed the team in the Carolina skiff and began positioning our decoy rig for the pending sunrise.
We were sitting outside of the spread in roughly 11 feet of water and Captain Stephanie saw a large rockfish roll to the surface. We started to cast and Stephanie and Chester hooked up on two 40 plus inch fish. Our charter called us on the Walkie Talkie and saw what just happened and made the request to switch from hunting to fishing. We quickly pulled an audible and headed back to the skiff and launched our trolling rig on the big boat! We could see large fish on the meter but didn't realize what was about to happen. It was GAME ON very quickly as we buried the rig and landed and safely released many Trophy fish over 40 inches. Christmas certainly came early for this group!

Robust fishing continues into SeptemberWe continue with great light tackle fishing in the last weeks of September. We limit out most days on striped bass. Bottom fishing for Blue & channel catfish and white perch has been robust as well. Most of the fish are being caught around structures.
We pride ourselves in catching most of our own bait. This is fairly time consuming but pays off in the end. We fish seven days as week and have opportunities for morning or afternoon trips. We honor most major credit cards. Learn more Fishing and crabbing has been robust for the entire month of August. Striped Bass were mainly caught live lining using spot. We also used cut bait with various successful tactics depending on fishing location. Strong bites were evident during the tide change for most of the month. We continue to catch Blue cat, channel catfish and white perch while bottom fishing. We were fortunate to limit out most days for striped bass even with large groups.
We offer Morning and Afternoon charters for large groups up to 28 Anglers. We are located at Kentmorr Marina in Stevensville MD.
